A Cost 1 attack dealing 20 damage (30 upgraded) for 1 HP. The HP cost is minor, and the damage is outrageously high for Cost 1. Upgraded 30 damage is one of the best damage-per-cost ratios in the game. Combined with HP-consumption synergy cards (Malice, Blood Boil, Crimson Robe), HP loss becomes an advantage. Even a pure damage-focused deck can include it. In HP-consumption builds, it's essentially mandatory.

Leverage the overwhelming efficiency of 20-30 damage for 1 Cost as the primary attack against high-HP bosses and elites. Combined with Malice (extra hits on HP loss this turn), Reckless Charge's HP cost satisfies Malice's condition while dealing heavy damage. With Blood Boil (Strength on HP loss) in play, you also gain Strength that rides subsequent attacks. Crimson Robe (Block on turn-start HP loss) similarly rewards HP-consumption play. Even at low HP, 1 HP is a small cost, so you can keep playing it comfortably.

• Malice: Cost 0 attack with extra hits on this-turn HP loss. Reckless Charge's HP cost satisfies Malice's condition.
• Blood Boil: Power granting Strength on HP loss. Reckless Charge's HP cost converts into a Strength buff, boosting subsequent attacks.
• Crimson Robe: Power granting Block on turn-start HP loss. HP-consumption builds pair it naturally with Reckless Charge.
• Bloodletting: Skill trading 3 HP for Energy. HP-consumption builds combine it with Reckless Charge to exploit HP efficiently.
• Inflame / Demon Form: Strength buffs. Reckless Charge's high damage scales further with Strength.
